Is there an over the counter treatment for mange?
There are many treatments for mange (dog scabies) available over-the-counter.
I will describe three which should do.
They are a permethrin dip (or spray), sulfur lotion, and ivermectin (oral).
You can do one or all of these treatments..
Can I treat mange at home?
Borax, a derivative of boric acid, can be used to cure mange. While boric acid is toxic, Borax is a safe and effective treatment for mange. Pour 2 cups of 1 percent hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle. Add 2 tablespoons Borax to the water.
